We’re hiring: account executive

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support CPL One’s Darley/Godolphin team in managing a variety of marketing projects across advertising, print, digital, and video. In this role, you’ll ensure all projects are running smoothly, deadlines are met and client expectations are consistently exceeded.

You will also play a key role in maintaining and adhering to our internal processes, helping to improve efficiency and ensure the team stays aligned. Your organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks will be crucial in supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Darley/Godolphin team on a daily basis and liaise with other CPL One internal teams and print/production suppliers to deliver against client briefs
  • Prepare project timelines and budgets and ensure they are adhered to
  • Coordinate, resource and schedule work through design, editorial and video teams as required
  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination and execution of various digital projects, including ongoing website support and maintenance, as well as the delivery of new website projects
  • Support with the organisation and delivery of annual client photoshoots
  • Organise print production of brochures, large-format print and promotional materials
  • Take ownership of internal processes and ensure they are followed. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Our picture-licensing process
    • Raising POs and invoicing completed jobs
    • Assisting in the day-to-day management of the client picture library and associated documentation
    • Updating project trackers
    • Regular reporting using our project management software (Synergist) and other sources of information
    • Attending meetings and events as required, taking notes and circulating action points
    • Researching new ideas and technologies to offer fresh, creative thinking for client proposals
    • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients

This job would suit a recent graduate with relevant experience, or someone with 1+ years of client-facing marketing agency experience, working across a variety of print and digital projects.

Skills and experience

  • A flexible, can-do attitude and the willingness to get stuck into all aspects of client work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, to support the rest of the team
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple projects
  • Proficient in G Suite (mail, sheets, docs, slides etc.) and Microsoft Office 
  • Experience with Google Analytics is an advantage, but not essential

The role

Your primary workplace will be our office in Cambridge, with occasional travel to client sites for meetings or installations as required.

We operate a hybrid working environment with most people working 60% of their time in the office and 40% at home.
