Senior digital account executive/Digital account manager

The role

We’re looking for a tech savvy and detail oriented individual with previous agency
experience to primarily support CPL One’s horseracing and breeding client accounts
in coordinating and delivering a variety of digital projects. In this client-facing role, you
will manage day-to-day operations, from website support and maintenance to new
digital rollouts, ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and client
expectations are exceeded.

You will manage the maintenance of a broad range of client websites, handling bug
tracking, making and managing updates, and reporting progress. Your methodical
approach, excellent communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing priorities
will be crucial in keeping our digital workflows efficient and ensuring high-quality
outcomes.

Your primary workplace will be our office in Cambridge, with travel to client sites for
meetings or installations as required. As regular travel to our client’s office in
Newmarket is an essential part of this role, candidates must possess a full UK driving
licence.

We operate a hybrid working environment with most people working 60% of their time
in the office and 40% at home.

Responsibilities

■ Project management: Provide end-to-end management for a variety of digital projects, delivering them on time, within budget, and to high quality standards 

■ Website maintenance: Act as the first point of contact for daily website maintenance, making updates and working with our development team to proactively track bugs, manage risk, and resolve issues 

■ Planning & scoping: Scope project requirements, prepare specifications and budgets, and monitor progress using internal project management tools 

■ Collaboration & testing: Partner with internal teams to design, develop, and implement digital solutions, ensuring flawless execution through thorough testing 

■ Client & team liaison: Strong client relationships are essential for the success of our team and you will be a key client contact, translating client needs into clear briefs for internal teams and ensuring all sides are on the same page

Skills and experience

Technical expertise 

■ Digital tools: Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), ideally WordPress and Drupal, proficiency in both G Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with project management tools such as Hive and Trello, plus knowledge of the Shopify platform would also be an advantage. 

■ Analytics & SEO: A foundational understanding of SEO best practices and Google Analytics tracking/reporting

■ Delivery-focused: Proven ability to multitask, manage tight deadlines, and prioritise workflows effectively under pressure 

■ Detail-oriented: Strong organisational skills with an exceptional eye for quality and attention to detail

■ Collaborative & adaptable: A proactive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
